In Scribeberry's case, no audio recording is created or stored at any point; transcription runs in real time on the vendor's own self-hosted encrypted service. Note text is held temporarily and encrypted for the single purpose of synchronizing across a user's devices, and the vendor states nothing encrypted remains once the user deletes the note.
