How do JotPsych and Nextvisit AI handle patient data?
With JotPsych, audio is deleted permanently once transcription completes, with no copies in backup or archive. Unsigned notes are deleted automatically after a window the practice sets between 30 and 365 days, and signed notes are kept for at least seven years under the privacy policy (April 2026).
In Nextvisit AI's case, training on patient or provider information requires explicit opt in, and the default asks for consent from both the provider and the patient. Nextvisit requires opt in from both provider and patient before it trains on their information, but its internal quality evaluations draw on transcripts and model traces by default, and excluding them takes an enterprise or custom agreement.
