The terms let Ambience keep and use de identified data derived from patient information for any purpose, including marketing, unless the master services agreement says otherwise.
Under the General Terms of Agreement the customer owns its Customer Data, a term defined to exclude PHI, and Commure makes stored Customer Data available on written request after termination. The same terms let Commure create deidentified data, own it outright, use and disclose it for any purpose the law does not prohibit, and aggregate it with other customers' deidentified data to produce insights.
