EHR / interoperability

Caregility and Ascom completed an integration that lets bedside staff call in a Caregility virtual nurse from Ascom Telligence nurse call controls, including the Patient Station, Duty Station and TelliConnect Workflow Station. One button press connects the bedside team to a remote clinician through the Caregility smart room device. Both companies describe it as the first step in a broader agreement, and Ascom joins Caregility's Care Square partner ecosystem.

Our read

Virtual nursing programs stall when staff have to step out of their workflow to ask for help. Putting the request on the nurse call controls already in the room removes that step for Ascom hospitals.
