Both work on chest and body computed tomography and they answer different questions. Nanox mines scans taken for unrelated reasons, surfacing coronary calcium and vertebral fractures nobody ordered the scan to look for, with a clearance portfolio built over years and a listed parent behind it. Riverain suppresses the vessels so nodules that vasculature was hiding become visible, which changes what the radiologist sees rather than adding a list of what the model found. For a lung programme Riverain is aimed at the actual reason nodules get missed. For a population health programme Nanox is finding disease nobody was looking for, and generating a follow up obligation the health system pays for, which should be priced alongside the licence.

Nanox publishes no health privacy commitment, data governance framework or subgroup analysis for a product designed to run across whole populations.
