Neither vendor is a straightforward purchase outside its home region. TORTUS is deep in the National Health Service estate and unevidenced elsewhere, asserts alignment with United States health privacy rules through third party listings with no agreement template located, and holds a self certified device registration rather than a reviewed clearance. Nabla's published pricing was withdrawn during 2026 in favour of a sales motion.
An earlier version of this note said its free tier did not include a business associate agreement; that claim traced to competitor comparison pages and Nabla's own terms say the opposite, requiring any customer subject to HIPAA to agree to the attached agreement before an account can be used at all.
