- If you run Oracle Health this is the deepest possible integration and it is not close. The agent is native to the record rather than launched alongside it, and since February 2026 it writes structured orders back into the chart rather than pasting text.
- Order creation from the conversation is a genuine workflow leap where it works: prescriptions, laboratory tests, imaging studies and follow up appointments drafted from ambient listening, with dose, frequency and preferred pharmacy inferred from history and clinician favourites.
- The cost is inside a contract you already have. There is no separate procurement, no new vendor security review and no additional data processor to paper, which for a stretched health system IT function is sometimes the deciding argument.

Oracle leadership has separately described software arriving in 2027 that would use ambient listening to populate clinical trial data as a new revenue source, which is a secondary use question a buyer should settle in contract now rather than later.
