Atropos Health vs Triomics

Last VerifiedAugust 4, 2026
Verdict

Both serve the oncology tumour board and they answer different questions. Triomics reads the institution's own charts, oncology tuned, tracing every conclusion back to the pathology and biomarker behind it, with peer reviewed validation and the deepest workflow integration in the trials category. Atropos answers the question that arises after the chart has been read and the literature is silent: what happened to patients like this one, generated as a publication grade observational study across a federated network of de identified records linked only at query time. A cancer centre plausibly needs both, and the sequence is obvious once stated. Read the patient, search the literature, and when the literature has nothing, generate the evidence. What Atropos should be pressed on is the method behind each generated study, because speed does not remove confounding.

Select Atropos Health if
  • It generates evidence that does not exist yet, running an observational study across a federated network of de identified records when no published trial covers the question.
  • Records are linked only at query time rather than pooled, which removes the aggregation risk instead of governing it.
  • The output is a study with an inspectable method, so a tumour board can argue with it rather than take it on trust.
Select Triomics if
  • It reads the institution's own oncology charts with a specialty tuned platform, tracing every conclusion back to the pathology and biomarker that produced it.
  • Peer reviewed validation in a recognised digital medicine journal is the strongest evidence position in the trials category.
  • The output lands where the oncology team already works rather than in a separate research tool.

Disclosure

These answer different questions for the same tumour board, one about this patient's record and one about patients like this patient, so they are sequential rather than alternative. Observational evidence generated on demand carries confounding and selection risks that speed does not remove, so the method of each generated study is what should be reviewed rather than the turnaround time. Atropos publishes no pricing, security attestation or trust centre. Triomics publishes no attestation either. Neither publishes a false negative rate for the patients its search does not surface.
