What Changed at Medsender

Medsender admins can now switch on AI processing for uploaded documents themselves, from a prompt on the Home page or under Settings, choosing automatic processing or a manual run on selected files. The AI fills in title, category and patient for each upload, and each processed page counts as half a transmission page. The same day, Medsender added sign in codes from authenticator apps such as 1Password, Authy and Google Authenticator.

Practices no longer need to ask Medsender to turn on AI filing, and the page charge is stated up front. Authenticator codes are a stronger second factor than codes sent by email or text.

Medsender launched Agentic Referral Management for medical practices. It reads each incoming referral in under 30 seconds, pulling demographics, insurance, referring provider and visit reason, then contacts the patient by text, email and phone with a link to book, and posts the referral to the EHR once the patient books. Only exceptions, such as incomplete referrals or patients who never respond, reach staff, and practices pay only for booked appointments.
