AIRS Medical received FDA 510(k) clearance for SwiftSight Body Composition, which measures visceral and subcutaneous fat, abdominal and thigh muscle, muscle quality and balance, and liver fat from an MRI scan of under five minutes. Results are benchmarked against age and sex matched reference populations in a single report, and SimonMed Imaging will be the first customer. It takes the SwiftSight platform beyond brain imaging, with diffusion tensor imaging planned for November 2026.
Our readImaging groups can add a body composition service on MRI scanners they already run, with no new modality and no manual measurement. Because MRI uses no radiation, repeat scans to track change over time are practical.
