EHR / interoperability

Optellum's Virtual Nodule Clinic with Lung Cancer Prediction AI is now integrated with RapidAI's Rapid Enterprise Platform, adding a lung nodule pathway to its more than 50 solutions. The clinic finds nodules documented in radiology reports, tracks follow up and scores each nodule's cancer risk from CT, and health systems can add it to an existing RapidAI installation in a single IT deployment.

Our read

Many incidental nodules are never followed up, and this brings a cleared tool for catching them to hospitals already on RapidAI. Optellum says the software is FDA cleared and reimbursed by Medicare under CPT 0721T and 0722T.
