Clinical evidence

Myriad released MONSTAR-SCREEN-3 data on Precise MRD, its whole genome sequencing test for residual cancer, presented at ESMO 2026. In resectable colorectal cancer the test found tumor DNA before clinical recurrence in every recurrence observed, with a median lead time of four months, and more than half of positive results after surgery were below 100 parts per million. In resectable pancreatic cancer, a positive result one month after surgery was linked to significantly worse recurrence free survival.

Our read

Many positives sat at very low levels, which is where a whole genome approach is meant to beat smaller panels. Lead time is not yet evidence that acting earlier changes outcomes, which is the data oncologists will want next.
