Eko launched CORE 300, an FDA cleared stethoscope whose single chestpiece twists between traditional listening and Cardiac, Pulmonary and All Purpose digital modes, with up to 35 times amplification, active noise cancellation and an on device heart rate display. Connected to the Eko App with an Eko+ membership, it records and visualizes sounds and runs Eko's FDA cleared AI for structural murmur detection. It is on sale in the US now, listed at $249 and currently $199, with Canada, the UK and parts of Europe to follow.

Our read

Clinicians get acoustic and digital listening in one device at a price close to a premium analog stethoscope. The murmur AI needs the app and an Eko+ membership, which renews at $119.99 a year, and pediatric use needs a diaphragm sold separately.
