Clinical evidence

Andor Health said the virtual specialist program it runs with Mass General Brigham on ThinkAndor now connects more than 20 community and rural hospitals in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine and upstate New York for telestroke and teleneurology. Six months after go live, the program is on pace for more than 16,000 consultations a year, which Andor puts at almost 70 percent more throughput than before. ThinkAndor takes the consult request from the referring EHR, finds a licensed specialist on shift, escalates unanswered requests and returns documentation to the source EHR.

Our read

It is one of the few named health system figures for consult routing at this scale. The number is a projected annual run rate reported by the vendor, with no baseline or clinical outcome attached.
