Aiforia released version 8.0 of Aiforia Create, its tool for building deep learning models for pathology image analysis without writing code. Training controls, annotation tools and whole slide analysis now sit in one workspace, refinement is guided by a confusion matrix, and the release adds centralized audit logging for the data behind each model. It rolls out to existing accounts over the coming weeks with annotations and models carried over.

Our read

Labs and pharma teams that build their own pathology models get fewer steps and a record of how each model was made. Create is labeled for research use only, so a model built in it is not cleared for diagnosis.
